# Account Research on Demand

Your reps regularly pick up accounts they don't deeply know — new territory assignments, handoffs during reorgs, renewals owned by a different rep last quarter, support escalations that need historical context fast. Today, getting up to speed means digging through CRM, listening to call recordings, scrolling email, and asking around in Slack. Most reps don't have time and walk in cold, asking the customer questions that have already been answered. Account Research on Demand gives any rep a complete picture in one question — pulled from every source, delivered where your team works.

**Starter** (required only): a useful brief covering account record, key contacts, deal history, and the last few calls' highlights.

## Build in Clearskies

For teams whose daily surface is Slack. Deploy a Slack command any rep can use to pull a complete brief on any account, anytime — delivered to Slack, on demand.

### The Workflow

In the Clearskies app, open the workflow builder and describe what you want in plain language:

summary, deal history, key contacts, recent themes across our
conversations, open items, and anything noteworthy or at risk. Post
the brief in the same channel where the command was run.

The app configures the trigger (Slack slash command), the data pulled (your connected sources), and the destination (the channel where the command runs). Review and refine before deploying.

### Deploy to Slack

Once deployed, any rep can type `/research Acme` in Slack and see this in the channel:

Recent themes
Analytics module evaluation has been the main conversation thread for
6 weeks. Security review came up on May 6 — legal is asking about data
retention and residency. Procurement may want to weigh in.

Open threads
• Pricing one-pager sent May 7, no reply from Sarah's internal forward
  on May 9.
• AE Daniel flagged in Slack May 10 that legal raised data residency
  questions. No update in CRM.
• 30-day pilot for the analytics module discussed but not confirmed.

The one thing
Confirm whether Mark Chen is still the economic buyer or whether David
Park's arrival changes the decision path. Both renewal and expansion
hang on this answer.

### Customize the rollout

* Choose who receives briefs (per-rep DM, team channel, manager or CSM cc)
* Tailor the sections to your team's standard (handoff brief vs. renewal brief vs. support brief)
* Adjust the brief depth and tone (quick overview, deep dive, executive summary)
* Add risk signals your team cares about — champion silence, stakeholder changes, sentiment shifts

## Build in Claude or ChatGPT

For teams whose daily surface is Claude or ChatGPT — sales leaders working in either, or RevOps testing the workflow before deploying it to the team. Output appears in your conversation.

### The Prompt

Open Claude or ChatGPT with the Clearskies MCP connected and paste this (or modify to your needs). Replace the account name with your own.

Claude or ChatGPT returns a brief structured like the Slack example above, generated from your data and formatted as a chat response. Refine the prompt to fit how your team works accounts.

### Make it yours

* Add `Focus on the upcoming renewal in 60 days` to anchor the brief on a specific moment.
* Add `Compare what's in CRM to what's actually happened` to surface hygiene gaps.
* Add `Generate a one-page handoff summary I can share with my team` to make it forwardable.
