# Jira

> Connect Jira to your Clearskies Context Graph so your agents can see issue-tracking work — tickets, status, and comments — alongside CRM, calls, email, and Slack.

## How it works

Connecting Jira brings your issues, their status, and their comment threads into the Context Graph, resolved against the same people and accounts as the rest of your customer data.

Once connected, Clearskies can:

* Use Jira issues and comments as customer context — tying engineering and support work to the accounts it affects
* Show whether an issue a customer is waiting on is open, in progress, or resolved
* Associate issues with people and accounts by email (reporter, assignee, creator)

On connect, Clearskies backfills your recent issue history and then keeps Jira current automatically.

## What you'll need

* **A Jira Cloud site**, and an account with access to the projects you want in the Context Graph
* Your **Jira site URL**, the **email** for that account, and a **Jira API token**

## Setup steps (\~5 minutes)

### 1. Create a Jira API token

In Atlassian, go to **Account settings → Security → Create and manage API tokens**, create a token, and copy it.

### 2. Open Context Graph in Clearskies

Log in to Clearskies and navigate to **Context Graph** from the main navigation.

### 3. Connect Jira

Find **Jira** and click **Connect**, then enter your **site URL**, **account email**, and **API token**.

### 4. Verify connection

Back in Clearskies, go to **Context Graph** and select **Jira**. A **Disconnect** button in the upper right confirms the connection is active.

## You're all set

Your Jira data is now part of your Context Graph. Agents you build will have access to it automatically — so a question like *"is the bug blocking this renewal fixed yet?"* can be answered against real issue status.
