This guide walks you through connecting your data and deploying your first agent.

What you’ll build

A Slack-based AskAI agent that answers questions about your deals, contacts, and accounts. Ask questions like “What are the risks in this deal?” or “Give me an exec summary on this account” — and get instant answers pulled from your unified data.

Before you begin

You’ll need:
  • Admin access to at least one data source (Salesforce, Gong, Google are good places to start)
  • Slack workspace admin permissions (to install the native app, bringing your agent into Slack)
  • 10 minutes

Step 1: Connect your first data source

Start by connecting one system. We recommend starting with your CRM.
  1. Log in to Clearskies (app.clearskies.cc)
  2. Navigate to Context Graph
  3. Click Connect Salesforce
  4. Follow the OAuth flow to authorize access
  5. Install Clearskies as a connected app in Salesforce (Salesforce > Setup > Connected Apps > Connected Apps OAuth Usage > Clearskies > Install)
What’s happening: Your CRM data starts creating the foundation of your Context Graph. This process can take somet time depending on your Salesforce instance. As you connect additional data sources Clearskies automatically maps the relationships to give you an unified view of every account, deal, contact and all their related data and activities.

Step 2: Deploy the AskAI template to Slack

Once your data source is syncing, deploy your first agent.
  1. Go to Context Graph in Clearskies
  2. Click Connect Slack
  3. Follow the OAuth flow to authorize access
What’s happening: You get a native Slack bot that your team can mention to call your agent (@clearskies) in Slack channels.

Step 3: Ask your first question

Head to the Slack channel where you installed the bot. Try asking:
  • @Clearskies What deals are closing this month?
  • @Clearskies Show me all opportunities over $50k
  • @Clearskies Who owns the Acme Corp account?
The agent will query your Context Graph and respond with answers sourced from your CRM.

What you just did

You connected a data source, deployed an agent, and saw Clearskies in action. The agent now has access to your unified customer context and can answer questions instantly.

Next steps

Now that you’ve seen the basics, here’s how to expand: Connect more data sources Add Gong for call insights, Google Workspace for email and calendar context, or Slack message history. The more data you connect, the richer your agent’s context becomes. → Data Sources Customize the agent Change how the agent responds, which data it can access, or which Slack channels it monitors. → Working with Agents Create a custom agent using the MCP server Deploy Deal Risk Monitor for pipeline alerts, or Post-Call Workflow to automate follow-ups after calls. → Templates Deploy to other surfaces Embed agent insights in Salesforce, send automated email summaries, or create custom dashboards. → Deployment Options
